Unanswered Question

We are using CCM at central location and CCME at branch location. Both are connected through WAN link.Recently we configured VT Advantage for Video Conferencing. Initially it was not working , after disabling 'Media Termination Point Required' on Trunk configuration on CCM, video conferencing starts working. But we are facing one more problem that users are not able to transfer the call or not able make conference call.

Can any one give the solution for this particular problem!!!!

When you disable MTP, you can make Video conferencing but not call transfer.

When you enable MTP, video conferencing won't work but call transfer will happen.

When you add CME to CM using an ICT, you will have to use MTP. What you are noticing is because without MTP, H323 Supplimentary services would not work. Check the link mentioned below which gives more info as to why this would be failing. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps4625/products_implementation_design_guide_chapter09186a00805f06a2.html#wp1068478

Also, the following link gives more info as to why MTP is used.

Hope this helps
