I have to change directory numbers on over 100 phones in CM 4.1. Is there a way to do this in BAT. Or do I have to do each one seperately?

Hi Daniel,

You could use BAT for the job. Export the data, reconfigure the Directory Numbers in the .csv file and then BAT-in the phones using the newly created file :) (sounds like a crazy baseball analogy)

Would'nt I have to delete the current phones that I will be changing the extensions on in order to import the new ones?

Hi Daniel,

You would have to take them out briefly, so you would need a maintenance window. The thing is that you will have the new file loaded on CCM and ready to go before deleteing the 100 phones. When you go to do this the total downtime will probably be less than 5-10 minutes.**Try a test with your phone it is really pretty cool:)

Hope this helps!
