Anyone know if SSH2 is supported on catos boxes ? The customer looks like they want to use ssh and they have a mix of catos boxes and IOS boxes . Do the IOS boxes support ssh2 ? We have literally hundreds of boxes to upgrade to do this just to get the correct K9 images on the catos boxes . We have ciscoworks , how would we have to do this ?

Step 1. upgrade all the boxes

step2. enable ssh on the boxes

step3 . Then write a separate job to disable telnet on the boxes ???

Looking for the easiest way to do this huge job . Thanks for any input.

I have this problem too.

SSH Version 2 is not supported on CatOS.

SSHV2 is only suported on IOS based sup engine. Please see the release notes for the same:

For Step3, Just enable " transport input ssh " under the line vty configuration.

HTH,Please rate if it does.
