Hi,

Daily purge fails and the Job ID doesn't give any info. Below is the error from the DPS.log.

19-Apr-2007|11:00:00.546|ERROR|DPS|Thread-3|PurgeTimerTask|run|.|Exception occurred while executing the command CreateProcess: D:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\pdexec.cmd FHPurgeTask error=5

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'll bet you're on Windows 2003. If that is the case, check the perms on cmd.exe. Make sure casuser has execute rights under the Security properties tab for this binary.

Hi,

Yes on the Server 2003 SP1. pdcmd.exe seems to have the right permissions for casuser.

Thanks

Not pdcmd.exe, but cmd.exe under C:\WINDOWS\system32. C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe must be executable by casuser.

Oops,

Yes I had to add casuser and give full permissions to cmd.exe. I'll let you know the next time the purge runs.

Thanks

Hey thanks.

Works fine lasts long time now...I hope.

Thanks
