Curious behavior on ASA5510

Hi,

We just had an engineer configure our firewall and now, I can't access inside resources from inside, using the outside IP address. For instance, we have a webmail server with NAT which works perfectly from outside the firewall but if I am inside and try to put the outside address in the browser, it will not pass the traffic. Any ideas why this could be?

Eric

By default, traffic cannot enter and exit the same interface. This document will give you a few options so it will work. DNS rewrite or Hairpinning.
