More info on Reporting in version 5

We currently use mailflow to run end of month reports on top 10 domains our users are going to.

If I read correctly the documents for ver 5 says mailflow data is deleted when the upgrade occurs. and data no longer gets uploaded to mailflow.

Based on this I guess I should wait till the end of the month to do my upgrade so I can get April's report out.

Can anyone comment on this and your overall impressions of reporting in version 5?

Yes, the Mail Flow Monitor data from appliances will be wipe out but you still can generate top 10 domain reports from Mail Flow Central which continue working on ver 5 log files.

i used the MFC stuff for monthly reports - so as you suggest it was easier just to do an upgrade to 5.1 at 1am on the first day of the month.
