I was wondering if the Cisco VPN client version 4.7 is capable of initiating an auto-connect after a connection loss to a PIX 515E?

VPN client 4.7 supports auto-intiation.
Inorder to be configure auto-connect , go to vpnclient.ini are basically under the Main will be to have the AutoInitiationEnable setting with a value 1 to enable and 0 to disable .
[Main]
AutoInitiationEnable=1
AutoInitiationRetryInterval=3
AutoInitiationList=zxxxWLAN,
[ChicagoWLAN]
Network=10.10.110.0
Mask=255.255.255.0
ConnectionEntry=xxxx
To verify if the autoinitiation feature is working you can use the statement ?vpnclient verify autoinitconfig? under the command prompt from the directory C:\program files\ciscosystems\vpn client\ vpnclient verify autoinitconfig

Hi! Thank you for replying. So far, to my understanding, this would only be suitable for wireless LAN setups. We're currently using VPNs over cable internet at our branches, and need some way to make the devices auto-reconnect to the head office whenever there is connection loss (which seems to happen all too often)
