I have a gig port on a 7206 connected to carrier's fiber switch. we are seeing large amounts of output drops on that port. carrier says they do not see any drops on their equipment. it is connected at 100/full.

Total output drops: 242179

any help would be appreciated.

thx

Hi

Is the carrier connected on the ethernet port which comes up with the NPE ?

Or connecting onto any other additional PA card ?

can you also post the show interface ethernet x/x output as well as the config pertaining to ethernet interface..
