Some of the DCR devices retain the .company.com part in their display names while havinig the domain name field empty. What's the quickest way to get these fixed up, without exporting/re-importing, if possible?

Without exporting/importing? I'd script dcrcli to do this. Basically the flow would be:
lsids all (get all DCR IDs and display names)
for each display name that does not end in company.com:
mod id= dn=
