MAC Address router Module

Hi

I have 2800 series router.

It has ethernet interface . Can I know the MAC address of the interface ?? Like the MAC address of the PC LAN Card.

Hi Biplob,

Is it the default ethernet interface you are talking about? If yes you can issue "sh interafce " to get the mac address for that particular interface.

Ok. If the module has two FE port then same MAC address for the two ethernet interface or

MAC address for only module not interface ?

Hi Biplob,

Mac address will be for each interface. So if there are 2 interface "sh int & sh int " will give you the mac address of both the interface.
