How to chk the discard frames in switch,how to trubleshoot ?

Hi William
The main reason would be
"The traffic load on the interface is excessive and causes the frames to be discarded.
Reduce the traffic load on the interface if you see an increasing number of packets in this field."

Thks for ur reply,
could u pls tell me what command i have to use to find which port is generating discard frame.
i tried -: sho controllers ethernet-controller
pls advice me what else is possible....
