Will existing Cisco AP's like the 1131AG support 802.11n

Hi Cisco,

Will the exsiting range of Cisco AP's like the 1131AG support 802.11n in the future once the protocol is radified?

Hi Allan,

Nops as of now there are no plans for existing 1131AG APs to support 802.11n but definetely there will be new series of APs which will be 802.11n capable.

Just to add a note to Ankurs good info. Here are comments from 2 Cisco reps on 802.11n in recent threads. Both indicate no upgrade path for existing AP's to accomodate 802.11n (these threads both refer to the 1231 and 1242's, but I think this most certainly carries over to the 1131);
