Cisco CB21 Card w/ Windows XP Slow Boot

I've got a CB21 Card PCI card with Windows XP using the ADU client. When the laptop boots and the card is installed it hangs for several minutes at the "Preparing Network Connections" screen. This only happens when the ADU client is set to use the Windows Username / Password for the 802.1x authentication.

I do not have this problem when any of the following is true:

- The card is removed.

- The ADU client is set to use a static username / password.

- Using the Windows Zero Wireless Conf.

It is not recommened to have client utilities on a single client PC. If you are using ADU, better disable the Microsoft WzC service from the computer services. So that this will not run during the next bootup and ADU will be the only running client utility on your PC.
