Anyone has used 3560G-24TS-S in that environment. I want to know which version of IOS support doing transport iSCSI via vlan.
It would be a great help with a sample topology and configuration with IOS version for 3560.
Thanks.

The configs really depend on your over all network setup.
I have seen the 3560 used a an iscsi backend. it is just a few bytes short of full jumbo frame support (I think 9010 vs 9016 - check the docs to be sure).
The short and skinny, is make sure you have jumbo frames enables, and use QOS to prefer the storage traffic.
If at all possible use this in a private or semi private " backend" network to avoid contention issues.
As for IOS choice - IOS 12.2.35 should be fine for you.
If you find this helpful please rate it.

I will try to download that IOS and figure it out.
Thanks,

Howdy,
Depending on the size of your environment you might like to take the edge core approach (attach storage to core switches).
But unless you have hundreds, maybe thousands of ports its prob not necessary.
Cheers
