Hello,

I am currently using a CISCO 2950 Catalyst 3124 (type WS_C2950_24).

I would like to configure the switch to be compliant with some AFDX requirements, that is: I would like to configure some ports in such a way that some incoming messages are sent back to their receiving port.

How can I do that ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

It seems that cisco has no notion of AFDX. I searched the web to learn about it a little, very interesting.

Anyway, I think the switches have no feature to send back messages received. So you will need to do that at application level then.

Thank you for your answer. But this switch is supposed to be compliant with the described need (regarding an Airbus study). And it was chosen for this purpose.

Following your advice, I forward the question on the dedicated forum.
