QoS lab scenario?

Unanswered Question

I have been trying to figure out answer to this for a long time without any success. I need to configure QoS for my CCIE lab and then test it. I was looking for a sofware that can generate enough traffic to triggger QoS and create flow on various ports and protocols. I can to test LLQ and CBWFQ. Can experts here please suggest me if theres any tool that can do it easily for me?

Thanks a ton,

I have this problem too.

try google'ing "traffic generator" or "voice traffic generator". looks like there are a few free tools that can do this. I don't have any experience with any specific tools in this category though. anyone else?

I have tried using the network traffic emulator. It does generate traffic but i never understood the amount of traffic it generated when you define the number of packets

you can also try traffic emulator

Also there are lot of other free/shareware tools available on the net with which you can test your QoS settings

HTH, rate if it does
