I passed CCNA in November 2005. Now, I've started to study the CCNP (by myself using my practice and the Ciscopress books).
CCNP certification needs 4 exams. Is there any time limitation where all 4 exams are passed ? For instance, is it mandatory to pass the 4 exams in a 4 months period of time or is it possible to pass the first exam on May, 1st 2007 and the last exam on September 2008 ?
The reason of my question is just to know if I have better to train every exam topics and pass all exams at the same time or if I have better to study for one exam, pass it and then study for the second exam, and so on (it would imply that I don't have a limited amount of time to pass the all 4 exams).
Subsidiary question : Is it better to pass BSCI and BCMSN all together (Combined) or to pass the 2 exams separately ? Any experience feedback ?
Have a nive week-end, folks !
I think you need to pass all the 4 exams within a span of 2 years. So it's ok if you pass BCMSN on 1st May and the last ONT on september 08.
But Remember your BCMSN certification is valid for a period of only 3 years and hence you will have to recertify
According to me its better to take the BSCI and the BCMSN seperately. This will help you to concentrate on specific topics.
