VNC Remote Access issue

All,

I am trying to access remotely CCM, Unity from home using Juniper SSL VPN and then when I am using VNC 4.x , all the time I am getting " Authentication Failure". All the login credentials are OK. The OS?s I am using it is W2K and XP. Also I am using IE 6.0. Have you encounter this issues and what was the fix?

Make sure you have set the vnc password. Also make sure that windows firewall is not preventing the connection. Try it from the local lan first. So far as accessing it across an SSL VPN, make sure that you can reach TCP port 5900 (if using the VNC thick client) and/or TCP port 5800 (if using a web browser and the built-in java/web VNC client).

Are you getting any errors in event viewer (SYSTEM LOGS) ?(On The PC or CCM)

e.g

errors with the source= 'DCOM' or 'W3SVC'?
