Hi wondering if someone can help me out with this one. I have a Cisco 3560 layer 3 switch on which I have setup a number of vlans and their corresponding ips. All are functioning except the management vlan - 10. I cannot ping my management vlan from any device within or without the network. A sho ip route command doesnt sho a route for vlan 10 but it does for the others. I have assigned a valid ip address to it and its not shutdown. Any ideas of what I need to do to get it working? Thks in advance.

Hi
First is the interface UP.
Check that atleast one port is active in that vlan on that switch or it has a trunk link and the vlan 10 is allowed on it.
Thanks

Hi Mahmood
Thanks for the fast reply. Yep been there done that :-) It all looks to be singing and dancing except that it hardly breaks a slow walk. Robyn.
