Cisco IP Communicator Error

Hi,

we are running communicator 2.0.2.0 on one of our laptops. once this laptop tries to connect to the ccm over a vpn, a error comes in as "The network interface you chose for audio doesnot have a valid IP address". what could be the reason?

pls help.

What kind of a vpn client are you using? A cisco universal thick client or some sort of an SSL VPN? What IP addresses/interfaces do you see when you type ipconfig /all from the command line?
