Hi,

Did you add a new boot statement pointing to the new IOS.

ex:

"boot bootflash:c3750-advipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin "

HTH, please rate if it does help,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

I'll try this out before the end of the day.

Do i need to add the boot before the flash i.e boot bootflash: (as opposed to boot flashh:)

Thanks

Hi,

Ok, then 100% this was your problem, as when the switch boots, if there is no boot command it uses the first image it founds in flash, which was in your case the old one.

yes the command syntax is "boot :"

note that the device here is the device where you've installed your new IOS, it may be the bootflash: or slot0: or disk0:.

And don't forget to save your configuration.

HTH, please rate if it does help,

Mohammed Mahmoud.

Thanks. I'll keep you posted as soon as this is done.
