is it possible for a Voice Enabled IOS Gateway (eg. 2811) to send a qsig path replacement using either tcl scripts or something similar ?
I dont have a CM to backhaul signaling info to.
The senario is
PBX------> GW (TCL scripts app)
<---- Call Transfer back to PBX
Currently the calls gets hairpinned.
Thanks

Hi,
no I don't think is possible to control qsig features via TCL - I may be wrong but from writing some script it does not seem to me it can be done.

Yes, the Tcl guide talks only of a few kinds of transfers that are supported and qsig is not one of them .
However, I wonder if its possible (in theory at least) to perhaps backhaul QSIG signalling
from the gateway to a non cisco MGCP stack , and have that process send the QSIG facility message to do a path replacement.
