valid hosts?

Hi Ali,

Is this IP belongs to router interface or some workstations? Also can you update the subnetmask for these ip addresses?

Hi Ali,

I got a bit of hint from your previous post for EIGRP and with mask of ip address is not a valid address. is the subnet address for its address block.

With subnet mask valid address will only be & will be the subnet address and will be the broadcast address.

Hi Ali,

I agree with Ankur on this. is not a valid host address, this is a subnet address. Valid IP's are .41 and .42 with .43 being the broadcast address for the subnet.

It depends upon the subnet mask.

Ex: is a valid host, while is not a valid host.
