We're using a PIX 515 6.3(5) and we currently have our telecommuters using PPTP VPN connections to work from home or on the road. Users that are buying new machines with Windows Vista are having a hard time connecting to our network and I think it has something to do with the new IPv6 or other network settings. Whenever someone tries to connect to the firewall via VPN, they get a "Couldn't negotiate PPP parameters with remote host" message.
Is 6.3(5) compatible with IPv6? Do I need to add anything to our PIX config to get VPN connectivity working again with Vista?
Thanks.

Check if you are not running into any of these issues. The Cisco VPN Client for Windows Vista does NOT support the following:
* System upgraded from Windows XP to Vista (clean OS installation required).
* Start Before Logon
* SmartCard Authentication
* Integrated Firewall
* InstallShield
* 64bit support
* AutoUpdate

Having the same issue. Problem is PIX 6.3 doesn't support MS CHAP v2 and Microsoft have removed support for MS Chap v1 from Vista. It simply will not work.
PPTP support is also absent from PIX 7.x so that not an option either.
L2TP over IPSEC is the only option beside using the Cisco VPN client.
