Move from F/R to E1 leased line 2Mb channel, need advise

Dear Expert,

Currently we have 4 Frame Relay connection to branches (A (as HO) to B,C,D,E), we plan to move to E1 leased line 2Mb channel from A to B,C,D,E my question is: is it necessary for me to buy some peripheral ?, below are what I had when "show version"

3640 -> A (HO)

Hi,

If i understand you right, you'll need 4 serial interfaces on the HO, one for each site, and 1 serial interface at each site (Hub and spoke topology).

Thanks, but could you please more spesific, what part should I use? and BTW do I need to upgrade the IOS also? and on HO, does CISCO 3640 can support 4 serial interfaces? ..

Hi Winanjaya,

To connect your routers via leased lines, with the HO router as a Hub, you'll need a serial interface on the Hub router for each spoke, accordingly you'll need 4 serial interfaces on the HO router, the 3640 can support the 4 serial interfaces, you can use this NM-4T interface:
