Hi,
Has anyone heard of this "The IEEE Gigabit Ethernet specification does not allow hard-setting a NIC at 1000Mbps". I'm referring to IEEE sepcification.
What happen is I'm configuring this non-Cisco device in between 2 Cisco devices which I hard-coded the GE to 1000BaseT/Full-Duplex. When I'm trying to hardcode this device GE port to 1000BaseT/Full-Duplex I get this error message.
TIA

Hi,
Thanks for the info, however I got the error from PacketShaper :) I'm trying to search any documentation from IEEE to confirm but I can't find some. If anyone know the link from IEEE, let me know. Thanks
Dandy
