Configuring dial plan on CDR

I am trying to configure dial plan in CAR but I don't know to change the default plan configured that is North American numbering plan.

Can anybody help me?.

Once you log into CAR, you will go to system----> system parameters---> gateway configuration. You will also have to make sure that you have correct values in the system----> system parameters---> dial plan configuration.

We need to determine if the RoutePatterns are pointing to a Gateway....or RoutePatterns pointing to a RouteList/RouteGroup & at what point the digit manipulation takes place. Any digit manipulation done on a RoutePattern takes affect before the call is recorded by CDR (therefore CAR as well). Any digit manipulation done on a RouteList/RouteGroup takes

affect after the call have been recorded by CDR (therefore CAR as well).
