SSL Client on Mac Safari against VPNConcentrator3000

Any time i try to connect with MACOS 10.4.8 with Web browser Safari and try to establish a SSL tunnel i got the following message : "The installer cant startup Cisco SSI/VPN client". Maybe because it cant download from the VPN3000. Exists any specific SSL client for this type of OS to work with VPN3000? Is it supported by Cisco?

The SVC requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP on the remote computer.

A new SSL VPN client is coming out called "AnyConnect". This will operate in ASA 8.0 code expected to release soon.

It offers:

Support for Mac and Linux platforms

Support for 32-bit Windows 2K, XP, and Vista

- 64-bit platforms to follow

64-bit Vista and 64-bit XP will only be supported with AnyConnect and the ASA

HTH,

Chuck

So, no way to use SVC on MAC/Linux with VPN3000.

Is it correct?

Yep. No way on the 3K. You'll have to have an ASA/PIX and you will need the 8.0 code on the box.
