Hi,
I need a template that I can use to configure ISDN backup on a 1700,2600 and 2800 router.
These routers are based at client sites and I need them to dial into one of my Routers.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
Have a look on this example:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk713/tk237/technologies_configuration_example09186a00800a3b77.shtml
and this:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk133/technologies_configuration_example09186a008009455e.shtml
Hope this helps.

this is for demand dialing with interesting traffic.
----------------
interface bri0
ip address
encapsulation ppp
no ip route-cache
no ip mroute-cache
dialer idle-timeout
dialer map ip
dialer load-threshold 100 outbound
dialer-group
isdn switch-type
isdn spid1
isdn spid2
no fair-queue
ppp authentication chap
ppp multilink
------------------
with the appropriate floating static route and acl, the isdn will kick in when an interesting traffic is generated, when the serial goes down.
Also, authentication password should be the same at each side.
