Connecting two 3560 PoE's together

Hi,

I want to connect two 3560 PoE switches together via that special SFP Module Patch Cable.

I'm not sure what is the most efficient way to configure the switches. They will both function as simple access switches at one of my remote locations. This facility is running on one switch, but needs more ports now.

Back a Corp. I've always Ether channeled my access switches back to the core switch.

What do you advise?

Thanks

Hi Friend,

If you have multiple vlan configured on that remote location and you want the switches to pass data multiple vlans then you can configure trunk between these 2 switches.

Something like this

config t

interface

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport mode trunk

You need to run the same commands on another switch interface which will be connected to this switch interface.
