Dspfarm nm-hdv2 and CME

Answered Question

Hi;

I have a configuration question about DSPfarms-NM-HDV2s- and Callmanager Express.

on voice gateway(hosting dspfarm)

-partial config-

!

sccp ccm group 1

associate ccm 1 priority 1

associate profile 10 transcode register MTPXXXXXXXXX

associate profile 11 conference register CFBYYYYYYYY

!

on CME(another router)

-partial config-

!

telephony-service

sdspfarm tag 1 MTPXXXXXXXXX

sdspfarm tag 2 CFBYYYYYYYY

!

On this configuration do X's and Y's must be the mac address of the interface defined on dspfarm hosting router with "sccp local fastethernetZ/T"?

Can MTPXXXXXXX and CFBYYYYYYY be anything we choose, as long as we define MTP and CFB resource with the same name as we did on router(dspfarm hosting) and on CME?

Thank You.

I have this problem too.

With NM-HDV2/PVDM2 you can set up any name you want. As long as the name in SCCP profile match with the name in telephony-service, it should work. With NM-HDV/PVDM-12 (first gen dsp;s) you had to match up the names with the mac-address prefixed by CFB or MTP.
