CCSP Cert time window

Unanswered Question

I renewed my CCNA with the 642-521 CSPFA in Cotober 2004. (CCNA valid to October 2007) I will be taking another test in the CCSP series (642-552 SND) this summer to renew my CCNA again, but won't have the rest of the Security Cert series done before the first test time-frame expires. (trying to do one test every 2 months until I get the CCSP completed) When the CSPFA timer expires, do I need to start over again for the CCSP, or would the "timer" roll up to the 642-552 SND test I take this summer, giving another 2 years to complete the CCSP. (I plan on taking the 642-523 SNPA to replace the CSPFA, but likely not until after October.)

I have this problem too.

As far as I know if you are "in the track"

this is ok. Pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level wil keep you in the track. So as you say if you pass 642-552 it will give you 3 more years to finish your CCSP.

Good luck!
