Need help with tsp (TAPI) client installation

I've followed all the documentation I can find on this topic with no luck. Windows Dialer.exe does not show the cisco line. I've confirmed and reconfirmed settings in CTI and User tab - it's all correct. yet, in Windows Phone Dialer, the only entry is for H323.

I'm looking for complete instructions on using this version of tsp - 5.1(0.801). Simply installing it, configuring the two tabs, installing the wav device and using is not getting it done.

This application/plugin is very picky.

I've seen it not work, then start working one day out of the blue.

You may have to reboot the PC after installing it a few times, and I have had one customer only get it to work when their password was 8 characters or less. Even though I've been successful with longer length passwords.

Make sure the PC has no firewall, filters, etc that may be blocking the tsp connection to the call manager server. You may want to disable firewalls, etc briefly to see if starts working.
