CCNP/CCSP Exams harder than CCNA ?

I know there are more exams for the professional level than associate but are the exams actually harder? Surely each exam for the professional level is easier because you are focusing on one particular subject not like CCNA which covers a bit of everything?

I have this problem too.

Here's my opinion having taken (and passed) the BCSI and BCMSN exams so far:

I originally had the same thought as you that, since the exams are more focused on a particular subject area, they would be easier than the CCNA which jumped all over the place.

In reality, I found the CCNP exams to be much harder due to the higher level of in depth subject knowledge required to solve the problems. Also, the time limit imposed on exam completion provides a significant barrier. If you don't really know what you're doing you won't have time to spend ruling out bad answer choices for very long.

Hope this helps.
