3000 Concetrator and routing traffic via incoming interface

Can the 3000 series concentrator be configured to route traffic back out of the same interface it recieved the traffic on ?

We want to use the VPN concetrator as the default route for the LAN and have it route certain traffic back out the Internal interface to another device on the LAN. We will be using static routes.

I know the ASA can do this with the "same-security-traffic permit intra-interface" command however i'm not sure the VPN 3000 can do the same thing.

Thanks guys

Yes - you can do that. Only the PIX 6.x doesn't route the packet back on the same interface that the packet arrived on.

Rate this post, if it helps.
