VRID Peering.

Hi i wan't to configure VRID Peering on the following configuration:

ip virtual-router 104 priority 210

ip virtual-router 105 priority 210

ip virtual-router 111 priority 210

ip virtual-router 112 priority 210

ip redundant-vip 101 195.177.246.63

ip redundant-vip 102 195.177.246.51

ip redundant-vip 103 195.177.246.52

ip redundant-vip 104 195.177.246.50

I can only use a max of 8 vrid in a critical reporter and i have more then 8.

How do i do this?

I have the following for the VRID's.

Frederik,

You should reduce the ammount of virtual-routers and assign multiple redundant vips to one virtual router. Normally when you have a setup with 2 boxes I advice 2 virtual routers. 1 Active on 1 box and 1 active on the other ....

Hi Dimitri,

Thank you for the fast reply. As i understand correctly i can use one virtual router and assing X redundant vips. This will have no impact on my content rules?

Hi Dimitri,

If i want to change my configuration i need to suspend all my content rules before changing to 1 virtual router.

Is there a command to suspend all content rules at ones?
