Hi, all,

I just finished a DiRT restore of Unity 4.0.4 in MCS 7800 with Win2000 and Exchange 2000. I tried to use GrantUnityAccess to "bind" the AD users as Unity subscribers, but it failed with message as :

Failed getting subscriber's object ID from database.

anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks.

Is this from the log file that is generated ?? Can you attach the complete log file which you run grantunityaccess. The location of the log file is mentioned when the command is executed

More questions

What account are you loogged on to unity ?

have you tried to assign Administrator Rights Unity subscribers as well?

Can u paste the exact command that you are typing ...what account are you trying to grant access ?

Also check the Class Of Service for all their Unity subscribers and Administrators

Hi,

I logged in as local administrator account which is also domain admin, scehma admin and exchange full admin.

The command I used in DOS was:

>grantunityaccess -u apt\administrator -s administrator

have you tried to assign Administrator Rights Unity subscribers as well? --> do u mean their association? I am having this trouble.

The Unity Admin is called EAdmin and not Administrator. So the command you should be using is grantunityaccess -u apt\administrator -s EAdmin

Also, incase this fails with the local Administrator account, use a Domain Administrator account to run this command
