Difference between DS0-group or TDM-group?

Unanswered Question

Hi, does anyone know when one would use the DSO-group vs. the TDM-group commands? I understand they would both be used with voice but don't understand the difference.

Thanks, Lisa G

I have this problem too.

ds0 groups is to terminate voice on CAS T1. Application is voice gateway.

tdm-group does timeslot multiplexing, and will send the timeslots unchanged to a destination also specified in configuration. Application is T1 or E1 add-drop multiplexer (and more).

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
