I have a sort of odd scenerio, where we may have three guys on the main floor (all open) who have to be on the same conference call. The are all using plantronics headsets. When they try to talk in the conference, they are getting a few second delay before they are heard. Any paramaters that anyone knows of that I can set to make the delay go away? It works fine for two phones in seperate rooms, it is just when more than one person in the same room are on the same conference call.

Thanks in advance for any advice..

When a conf call is created using pre-existing calls, the IP phone may have vad enabled. So to avoid this, turn off vad whenever the phone starts a call and one of it's other lines is in the hold state.

The delay you experience is normal. IF you are in the same room there will be a delay between the person speaking and the time that person is receiving the audio.

It is the same with any voice application. Try it on a cell phone if you have doubts.
