Hello,

WMI, is not an easy thing to understand and to configure. I have just solved the problem for receiving messages, and now the WMI does lignt on when there is a message for a user. So it must be some glich, because I think that I put everything correctly for WMI.

I attach my config files so someone can help me find my problem.

Thank you.

Are the phones running SIP or skinny ?

If your extensions are 2 digits, your MWI on number should be 57.. and MWI off number should be 87..

Hi, I am not completely certain that my phones uses SCCP. Thoug in all the config I have made, I work thinking that they where SCCP. How can I make shure ?

Also, I have tried what you said addng the following commands.

"no ephone-dn 19 dual-line

ephone-dn 19

no call-forward busy 99

no call-forward noan 99 timeout 18

number 57

mwi on

!

!

no ephone-dn 20 dual-line

ephone-dn 20

no call-forward busy 99

no call-forward noan 99 timeout 18

number 87

mwi off

But there is still no blinking red light on the phone that I leave a message on (ie 57).

So there is probably a miss configuration between sip and SCCP ? Or I dont' know what exacly.

Thank you for for your continuing help

As Sankar said make sure you include the ".." such as number 57.. if your extensions are 2 digit long.

Take a look at this doc (page 14)
