Can we have a Publisher and a Subscriber in two different locations for a CCM ?

If one of these goes down for some reason will the other keep the phone up and operational and are you limited to a certain time it keeps them working?

Hi Bill,

Yes, that is the design. The phones will failover to to CCM that is still running for an indefinite period of time. The only thing is if you lose the publisher no changes can be made via ccmadmin. I think it also effects the ability to use cfwdall.

Hope this helps!

Yes you can have a publisher and subscriber int two different locations depending on the speed of the link.

If you have configured your callmanager groups correctlly then the phones will register with the callmanager that is up at that time. There is no limit to how long the phones will stay registered. They will stay registered with the backup callmanager until the primary callmanager comes back up.
