device configurations (limitations ?)

I wonder if there is a limitation in the number of devices that can be configured (RME 4.0.6) during 1 job.

If I configure more than 10 devices during one config job, the job fails :

"error RME : 1022, CDL 1031 Transport session to devices failed" is one of the messages that sometimes appears.

Are there people with a same problem ? Is there really a limitation ?

On the Solaris 9 (RME 4.0.6) I regularly run jobs that touch thousands of devices at a time.
