I'm working on port monitoring on a 4510 switch and I have a slight problem. We're using Callrex voice recording software and have successfully configured the port monitoring on the voice vlan. Everything works great.
In a meeting yesterday with our customer we found out they have a need to monitor calls using IPCC (UCCX). That's fine, but we'd need to connect the server's second NIC to the switch and span the voice vlan to that interface. I'm unable to add a second destination address to the monitor session on the switch. Any ideas?
Here's the config:
monitor session 1 source vlan 211 , 900
monitor session 1 destination interface Gi3/43
vlan 211 is the voice vlan, vlan 900 is the remote vlan for the other switches in the building.
g3/43 goes to Callrex
g3/25 goes to IPCC (UCCX)
I suppose I could always create another monitor session...but would that completely own the switch?
