Dual Metro E links (802.1Q) - 3750 stack vs 4507

Hi,

I currently have a 1000Mb Bellsouth Metro E aggregation port that terminates into a 3560 using 802.1Q trunking. (They are using QnQ tagging) My remote end points are 100Mb 802.1Q tunnels that are also utilizing 3560s.

I'll soon be adding an additional 10Mb ME port with a different provider (non-bell) and would like some guidance on equipment.

I'd like to lean more towards a 4500 switch, but current prices make me shy away from it. Would a stack of 3750s easily achieve the same results? The 3650 is plenty sufficient; there is just no redundancy what so ever.

thanks,

Nathan

No, the Cisco ME 2400 and ME 3400 Series and Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series will be the only products positioned for the Metro Ethernet market, and only they will have new Metro Ethernet features in the future.
