Can some exams qualify for two certifications

I have noticed that some Pro certifications require the same exam codes, does this mean you can use the passed exam code for more than one certification.

I have this problem too.

Yes it does. For example, you can use the BSCI for both the CCNP and the CCIP.

Yes it does.

CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCIP, and CCVP certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE written exam.

I've done this in 2005 by passing CCIE R&S Written (recertification with 642 not available yet that year) by recertifying my 3 certs CCNP, CCSP, and CCDP.
