Session timeouts

Recently I put a context firewall up between our VPN concentrators and our inside network. Users have been complaining of getting timed out in applications like TELNET.

I'm sure what is happening is the firewall is dropping the xlate after a period of time without activity. If this is under "timeouts" in advanced settings what value do I need to change to allow them longer idle times in telnet?

Try enabling NAT-T on the concentrator.

timeout connection

default is 1 hour.

Thanks,

Chad

Thanks Chad. Thats what I thought. But users are reporting getting disconnected after 3 mins. Any suggestions? This only started happening after I put the 3030 outside a 6513 FWSM context firewall.

Try enabling NAT-T on the concentrator.
