PIX 515e Line Protocol Down on PIX 4FE interfaces

I am trying to upgrade a pair of aging 515s to 515e. Have moved the PIX 4FE cards to the 515e and all four of these ports remain in Line Protocol Down status when connected to a switch.

Have moved the cards back to the 515 and experience the same result.

Cisco has replaced the PIX 4FE cards. Tested today and got the same results.

Has anyone experienced this same issue? If so, what was the resolution?

You can check that if the interface is set to "auto", make sure the device it is connected to is set to auto. Also try to hard code speed/duplex in your devices (ie. PIX and Switch).
