Router MC

Hi,

Can you please send "show ip ospf neighbor", and the OSPF process configuration on both routers.

Hi,

The problem is most frequently caused by the inability to successfully exchange DBD packets which many be due to neighbor between PRI and BRI/dialer, let me check it and get back to you.

I had faced a similar situation (not with an ISDN interafce though) where we chnaged the module and the symptom got rectified.

Can you try establishing the adjaceny over the ISDN interface without configuring it as backup for the primary?

simulating it,at this point of time will not be possible. but wanted to know the there can be some other reason other than MTU , which will make the state of OSPF to EXSTART

Sarosh,

Have you tried running a "show ip ospf adj" on these two routers? This would give you a good hint of what the issue is.

Hope this helps,

I would also try setting a "dialer map ip broadcast" on either side. Currently, only router MC is configured this way.

Hope this helps,

Sorry, I wrote to quickly. I meant setting the "dialer map ip broadcast" on both sides.

"dialer map Ip broadcast " is configured on MC, because that the router from which the dialing to taking place. I want MC to dial.

You are not forced to configure a phone number on this command. You could just configured it as follow if you don't want BL to dial:

dialer map ip x.x.x.x boradcast name xxx

Hope this helps,
