I have no IT experience and I am looking to jump in. I have a good friend with IT experience and has directed me in the CCNA direction. The only problem is that i have a BBA in Business no Computer Science. From all of you in the field I ask you...Would it be a good move for me? I know that I can do it, but if I pass I'll only have a certification with no experience or tecnical degree.

The sooner you get some experience, the better. Look for an entry level position where you can be around technology and begin taking an active part. If you're interested in networking, start working on your CCNA while you're gaining experience.

Well if i am right one of the CCIE's James irwin i guess was a truck driver before getting the highest cert in Cisco. Scott Morris IPexpert instructor was a photo journalist if i am right. So you really didn't be a technical guide to get into this field, you only need the passion.
