Reload command will restart your router/switch but it will not do shutdown

As per my knowledge there is no command to shutdown Router, Switch

and Cisco PIX

There is no command to shutdown the router.

There are some that recommend some UPS that will cut the power to the router, but this will cost money. However, if there are personnel in the building that belongs to your organization where the router is located, you can create a for "dummies" work instruction how to switch OFF and switch ON the router and when to do it.
